Back burner is about being placed as a second option, we've all been there more than we'd like to admit! If you know what I'm talking about then you feel just as angered and frustrated by it as the woman in the pot does. The illustration composition is a dynamic angle portraying a woman enjoying her time floating along until she realizes she hasn't been made a priority to someone. The color tones and choice of comic book style were inspired by the groovy beats created by Strawberry Mountain. It reminded me very much of the 70's while still being modern.
